What Does This Have To Do With Present Day South Africa?
Honestly, who knows. There has been mountains of whisperings in public online forums regarding the the depth of the US reach into South Africa and their politics. As a result the US is suspect number one in my books.
Stephen Mitford Goodson (1948 - 4 August 2018) ex South African Reserve Bank Director, author and politician who was the leader of South Africa's Abolition of Income Tax and Usury Party. He stood as a candidate for the Ubuntu Party in the 2014 General Elections.
In this an exposé by Stephen Goodson, he claims that the CIA are responsible for not only farm murders in South Africa, but also the Sharpville Massacre in order to create a domino effect that would assisst in a regime change within the country as a result of the blame that would befall White South Africans. He also accused 5 Banks holding the SA Reserve Bank Captive and captured by the state.

In his book ‘A History of Central Banking and the Enslavement of Mankind’ Stephen Goodson explains how the Central Banking “scam” originated, and how those who run it have throughout history used their power to subvert governments, and manufacture wars that not only produced vast profits, but frequently to topple ‘regimes’ whose banking system was not under their control.
The Foreword to A History of Central Banking was written by Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Member of Parliament and head of the Inkatha Freedom Party, a notable leader of the Zulu, who has had a very stormy relationship with the African National Congress. What is particularly interesting is that Buthelezi comments in his Foreword that he and his party have advocated “that South Africa should reform its central banking and monetary system, even if it means placing our country out of step with iniquitous world standards.” - Source
In 2015, there were attempts by the Reserve Bank to prosecute Goodson for Inside the Reserve Bank for supposedly divulging business secrets. Goodson reacted with vigor, and his questioning of Colonel Schilz of the Criminal Priority Investigation Unit is a delight. “Is it a crime to expose crime?” demanded Goodson, Schilz conceding that it is not. -

He is one of the many theorists that claim the US and other global interests are meddling in our affairs. In June 2017, Goodson was connected to the Public Protector's Report of 19 June 2017 regarding the proposal to reform the South African Reserve Bank, so that it serves the people rather than the interests of the commercial banks.
Goodson left SARB under claims that he was a “holocaust denier” with bad press associated with him. He dedicates an entire chapter to this topic in his book. We are far more interested in the research and insight behind the banking system. It is greatly sad that such a topic is brought up, as we feel it is completely unnecessary and inconsequential to the real message behind the book.
What Goodson found was ineptitude, corruption, careerism, ignorance and scandal. When Goodson became too troublesome for the status quo, he was removed, smeared, and attempts were made to legally silence him.
“A friend who visited Stephen Goodson in hospital on the night of Friday 3rd August claimed she [name indistinct] was told by the deceased: “get me out of here, they’re posioning me to death”.

Present Day South Africa: South African Fuel and the Sasol Oil Outage Connection

Sasol, South Africa’s largest fuel producer, declared force majeure on the supply of petroleum products due to delays in deliveries of crude to the Natref refinery it owns with TotalEnergies, leaving just a fraction of the country’s fuel-production capacity still operational.
Natref, a 108 000 barrel-a-day plant, was forced to shut after the late oil shipments, the company said in a statement. “Sasol Oil will not be in a position to fully meet its commitments on the supply of all petroleum products from July 2022,” the firm said.
The shutdown means the whole of South Africa’s oil-refinery fleet is out of action after a string of other facilities suspended production over the past two years. As a result, the country’s monthly petroleum product imports are set to as much as triple by next year from pre-pandemic levels, energy consultant Citac said in a May report. - Source

There was President Biden, speaking about how they are going to "work closely with South Africa " to get rid of coal powerstations to help reduce greenhouse gasses?
Now, if we close the Coal Powerstations, and Sasol has declared force majeure on the supply of petroleum products, leaving just a fraction of the country’s fuel-production capacity still operational, what happens to us if sleepy Joe gets his way?

Sasol outage means all South African oil refineries are now shut. SO....
